In what can only be described as a complete brain fart, someone at Sony (or working to promote them) has used an image from Project Gotham Racing 3 on the Xbox 360 to advertise Gran Turismo HD on the psp.connect.com website yesterday. Quite why this image was used for the advert no-one knows. Perhaps it was some kind of really sophisticated advertising campaign to get loads of Xbox owners to visit a Sony website, or just someone who really messed up big time.
The advert appears to have been pulled by the website now.

Eurogamer.met are reporting that there is some new Project Gotham Racing 3 content on its way. If true this could at last give us what we have all been wanting – Mini racing…
Bizarre Creations is planning to release another 12-car downloadable content pack for Project Gotham Racing 3 in the near future.
Following the Speed Pack, now we have the Style Pack, which features a few BMWs, a new Ferrari and some friends, according to the Official Xbox Magazine website.

Hey as if there wern’t enough cool cars already for PGR3, you can now download the new Cadillac V Series pack from the marketplace. The pack includes three V-Series Cadillacs (CTS-V, STS-V, or XLR-V). If you can manage to get one of these cars into the top 100 time trial challenges on the Nürburgring Full F1 Circuit, you get a exclusive gamerpicture to download. How cool is that. And if that is not enough, all of this content is FREE…
Anyway, the cars in a bit more detail:
CTS-V
The Cadillac CTS-V’s 6.0-liter V8 400-horsepower 395 lb-ft of torque engine cruises on a Nürburgring-tuned suspension that delivers on its promise of high performance. The most powerful engine in its class (luxury sport sedan) gets you from zero to sixty in 4.6 seconds and the 14-inch Brembo brakes get you back to zero just as quick.

STS-V
The STS-V has a 4.4-liter Northstar V8 Supercharged engine with 469 horsepower, making it the most powerful production Cadillac ever made. The STS-V utilizes the ZF Servotronic II steering system, widely regarded for its precision and high-speed cornering, and tuned to STS-V specifications on Germany’s famed Nürburgring race course, all of which gives STS-V an incredibly sensitive, yet powerful, feel for the road.

XLR-V
The supercharged, hand-built 4.4-liter Northstar V8 SC engine that powers the Cadillac XLR-V will get you to the finish line first. At 100 horsepower per liter, the XLR-V has one of the highest-output production line engines in the world.
