Fallout 3 premium theme

A premium theme for Fallout 3 will be released on Xbox LIVE on Oct. 1 free of charge for all players who have purchased all five Fallout 3 Game Add-ons by September 22. Gamers who have purchased all five Game Add-ons (via DLC, English only), including Operation Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta, will receive a token from Microsoft to download the theme for free starting Oct. 1.

Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta

Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta is now available for download from the Xbox Live Marketplace. The DLC is available in all Xbox Live regions (except Japan) and costs 800 points.

A strange Alien signal is being broadcast throughout the Capital Wasteland, originating from a crashed UFO. Is it a distress call, or something far more sinister? That question is answered when you find yourself beamed aboard an enormous Alien spacecraft, with only one alternative – to fight your way to the bridge of the ship and secure your escape. Mothership Zeta takes Fallout 3 in an entirely new direction – outer space. Meet new characters and join with them in a desperate bid to escape the Aliens’ clutches. To do so, you’ll wield powerful new weapons, like the Alien Atomizer, Alien Disintegrator and Drone Cannon, and deck yourself out in brand new outfits, like the Gemini-Era Spacesuit and even Samurai Armor.

ZeniMax Media Acquires id Software

Library of powerhouse franchises will include DOOM, Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, QUAKE, Wolfenstein and RAGE

June 24, 2009 (Rockville, MD) – ZeniMax Media Inc., parent company of noted game publisher Bethesda Softworks, today announced it has completed the acquisition of legendary game studio, id Software, creators of world-renowned games such as DOOM, QUAKE, Wolfenstein, and its upcoming title, RAGE. The acquisition by ZeniMax Media joins together two of the finest, most respected videogame developers in the world, combining the first person shooter (FPS) expertise of id Software with acclaimed role playing game (RPG) developer Bethesda Game Studios – creators of the 2008 Game of the Year, Fallout 3, and the 2006 Game of the Year, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Bethesda Softworks will publish the titles of id Software other than upcoming releases previously committed to other publishers.

Fallout 3: Point Lookout
