£750,000 worth of Xbox 360’s Stolen

Posted on Thursday 23 November 2006

Reports on the the Inquirer are saying that a large shipment of Xbox 360’s have been stolen during a lorry hijacking. The incident happened Monday at about 5am, on the A38 motorway soon after the lorry had left a depot near Lichfield in Staffordshire. It is thought at around £750,000 worth of Xbox 360’s were nicked in the robbery. Staffordshire Police are appealing for witnesses. No doubt this will leave a few retailers a bit short this coming Christmas.

Further information from the Inquirer.
