Xbox Live and Xbox.com will be undergoing scheduled maintenance on Monday September 29th. The work is due to start around 8:00am (GMT) and is likely to last for up to 24 hours. Both Xbox Live and Xbox.com will be offline for this period of time. This service maintenance is in preparation for the new Xbox experience which will be available later this fall.
